Jan Heydenrych
BA Law, Higher Certificate Short Term Insurance, Professional Loss Adjuster.
Jan has been working in the insurance industry since 1989 and founded MVO Consultants with his partner, Johan in 1998, and VTH Consultants in 2017.
Jan specializes in all Liability Claims, Loss of Income and the Investigation of Merits cases and also manages the office.

Johan Hendrik van Tonder
Johan has been drafting bills of costs since 1989 and also acted as Taxing Master at the Arbitration Forum, now Equillore, for the past 15 years. He founded MVO Consultants with his partner, Jan, in 1998 and VTH Consultants in 2017.
Johan specializes in drafting all kinds of bills of cost in the High- and Magistrate’s Court as well as non-litigious tariff and also presents and oppose bills when attending taxations.

Tania Harris
Tania started working for MVO Consultants in 2002 as a tracing agent. She started showing an interest in the rest of the services provided by MVO Consultants and in 2004 she did a Caddie course and started drawing up plans for the Assessors. She later worked as an assistant and typist for the Assessors. In 2008 she started training as a Cost Consultant and became one of the CC members in 2014.
Tania specializes in drafting bills of costs in High- and Magistrate’s Court as well as non-litigious tariff.
Tania is also one of the shareholders of VTH Consultants.

Jaco Coetzer
Jaco has been a cost consultant since 1999.

Stephan Smit
Stephan specializes in Merits and Quantum investigations, Loss of Income on behalf of the Road Accident Fund and various legal firms as well as General Adjusting.

Natasha Serame
Natasha took up employment with Bills of Costs where she started her training as a Legal Cost Consultant. Three years later she joined A Righard Munnik Cost Consultants where she was employed for 25 years until she was retrenched in October 2013 and in this time she gained extensive experience in drafting Bills of Costs. She then joined the Road Accident Fund initially as a Legal Cost Officer and later as a Payment Officer. When her contract ended with the Road Accident Fund she free-lanced for various Cost consultants until she joined MVO Consultants on a permanent basis in 2017.
Natasha specializes in drafting bills of costs in High- and Magistrate’s Court as well as non-litigious tariff.

Lana Kleyn
After matriculating Lana took up employment at a Bank as an administrative clerk in the bonds department. In 2001 she changed the direction of her career and joined a firm of auditors. MVO Consultants was one of the clients on her client base. In 2007 she joined MVO Consultants as bookkeeper.

Elizma Du Plooy
Elizma started working for MVO Consultants in 1999 as a typist for the Assessors. She left MVO Consultants 2005 and worked in the legal field for 9 years and has experience in Magistrates and High Court Litigation and Third Party Claims. Elizma joined MVO Consultants in November 2014 as Office Manager.
Elizma has since also become a legal cost consultant and specializes in drafting bills of costs.

Claude Christians
Supervisor/Assessor
Claude has been a valued member of VTH Consultants since September 2015, serving as a Supervisor and Assessor. He oversees investigations, ensuring thorough and accurate case assessments.
His expertise includes Merits and Quantum Investigations, client and witness tracing, vehicle ownership verification, and document sourcing. Claude also prepares detailed Merits and Quantum Reports, providing essential insights for legal cases.

Sinazo Twani

I joined MVO Consultant in 2016 as an Administrator. I then showed interest in the Investigation Department where I specialised in Quantum and loss of support investigations on behalf of the Road Accident Fund.
In 2019, I started training as a Cost Consultant.
